Welcome to Brainy Things, a leading importer and reseller of batteries and electronic goods.
We are a family run business operating from Rolleston (20km south of Christchurch). We value our customers and their repeat business. Please don't hesitate to contact us for pre-sales and after-sales support.

Payment By Direct Credit
We prefer to be paid by direct credit to our nominated bank account. Please be aware that most banks will only process payments overnight on a business day. This means that payments made on Saturday and Sunday will typically not appear in our account until Tuesday morning. Likewise, payments made on public holidays will appear in our account on the morning following the next business day.
Payment by Credit Card
We accept both Visa or Mastercard using the online Paymate service.
GST Tax Invoice
We are GST registered and we will include a tax invoice with every shipment.
Shipping
Goods will be dispatched as soon as payment is received. If you have special shipping requirements then please ask. We will use either NZ Couriers or CourierPost for both standard street addresses and rural deliveries. In the case of PO Boxes, we can only use CourierPost. We will supply you with a tracking number once your goods have been dispatched.
Warranty
We offer a 30 day right of return on the goods sold by us. Simply return the goods to us and we will refund the purchase price less shipping charges incurred. Unless stated otherwise, all goods carry a limited 12 month warranty (return to base). Please contact us before returning goods. We are here to help and often we can offer solutions to the problems you may encounter.
